A: It's easy! Go to the Service Provider Search page. Enter your criteria - type of work you need done and the city where the work is to be performed. Your search results will give you information on all providers in your area who do that type of work.

Q: What is the My Allen Tate Gold Rewards Program?

Q: Are your vendors licensed and insured?

A: Our service providers have passed a company screening review and business license verification. All have been in business at least three years and maintain at least $1 million in general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. We also require our providers to maintain a high customer satisfaction rate to be affiliated with Allen Tate Home Services.

Q: How do I schedule a service call?

A: Once you have selected the vendor you would like to use, contact them directly via phone or email and provide them with information about the type of work to be performed. Many will provide pricing and/or free estimates.

Q: How can I become an Allen Tate Home Services vendor?

A: If you'd like to partner with Allen Tate Home Services to market your home maintenance, repair, renovation or remodeling business, we'd love to speak with you. You must meet and maintain strict criteria to be considered, but you'll enjoy website exposure, marketing and other benefits.

Q: Will Allen Tate Home Services remove a service provider from the website after receiving a customer complaint?

A: We take complaints very seriously and investigate with both parties. One complaint will not necessarily disqualify a service provider; however, we do watch for trends and will remove a service provider if we need to.

Q: How does Allen Tate Home Services find its service providers?

A: Many of our service providers have been working with Allen Tate for years and come to us from recommendations by our real estate agents as well as our homeowners.

Q: Is there a cost to use homeservices.allentate.com?

A: There is no cost to find a preferred vendor from Allen Tate Home Services using homeservices.allentate.com. Each vendor has their own pricing structure for work they are contracted to perform.

Home Warranty

Q: I'm not currently buying or selling. Can I buy a Home Warranty?

A: Yes! As a homeowner not currently in the market, you may purchase a 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty with a 30-day waiting period. You may require an inspection of major home systems prior to receiving the warranty.

Q: As a seller, will my warranty transfer to my buyer?

A: When you are selling a home, it's a great idea to purchase a Home Warranty. This will allow you to use it for any necessary repairs during the listing period, and then transfer to your buyer for a period of one year from closing. A Home Warranty also makes your home more attractive to potential buyers!

Q: What does a Home Warranty cover?

A: Generally, a Home Warranty is designed to cover repair or replacement of major systems and appliances, including heating, air conditioning, electrical and plumbing. Optional coverage is available for swimming pools, septic systems and mechanical wells. Please review the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty service agreement for complete coverage details.

Q: How much does a Home Warranty cost?

A: A 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty has a base fee and a trade fee, which is an upfront fee that is paid per service call. Base fees range from $455 to $565 per year for a single-family home, with a trade fee of $75 or $100. Additional services have additional costs. There is also an additional fee for homes larger than 5,000 square foot.
